How to set your Intermatic Equipment Timer

If you have an Intermatic T100 series pool timer, you may want to know how to set it up and program it to control your pool equipment. Here are some steps to help you do that:

Locate the yellow clock dial inside the timer box. This dial shows the current time and has a silver time pointer that points to it.

To set the current time, pull the clock dial outward and turn it until the exact time of day aligns with the time pointer. For example, if it is 12:00 pm, make sure the 12 on the dial matches the pointer.

To program when you want your pool equipment to turn on and off, you will need to use the trippers. The trippers are small pieces that attach to the clock dial and trigger the switch. The green tripper is for turning on and the gold tripper is for turning off.

To set the on tripper, hold it against the desired time on the dial and tighten the screw firmly. For example, if you want your pool pump to start at 8:00 am, place the green tripper at 8 on the dial.

To set the off tripper, hold it against the desired time on the dial and tighten the screw firmly. For example, if you want your pool pump to stop at 4:00 pm, place the gold tripper at 4 on the dial.

You can repeat steps 4 and 5 for any other pool equipment you want to control with the timer, such as a heater or a light. You can also add more trippers if you want to have multiple on and off cycles per day.

Once you have set all the trippers, close the timer box and plug it in. The timer will automatically turn your pool equipment on and off according to your settings.

If you want to manually override the timer settings, you can use the red lever on the side of the timer box. If you flip it to on, it will turn all your pool equipment on regardless of the trippers. If you flip it to off, it will turn all your pool equipment off regardless of the trippers.

This is how you can set an Intermatic T100 series pool timer.
